On March 1, 2022, the IVIO-trial was initiated in the Prehospital Emergency Medical Services of the Central Denmark Region.

On February 15, 2023, the IVIO-trial was initiated in the Emergency Medical Services, the North Denmark Region.

On April 1, 2023, the IVIO-trial was initiated in the Emergency Medical Services, the Region of Southern Denmark.

On November 20, 2023, the IVIO-trial was initiated in the Emergency Medical Services, the Capital Region of Denmark.

The trial is expected to initiate in Region Zealand during the first months of 2024, thus making the trial national in Denmark.
